PURPOSE OF INCORPORATION
(as articulated in the approved Articles of Incorporation):

1.

Organize, establish and maintain a progressive and vigilant foundation that would help facilitate the institutionalization of the major role of the local resource users in community-based planning vis-a-vis the implementation of policies and- programs related to the management, conservation, development and protection of the CarCanMadCarLan enviroment;

2.

Serves as a coordinating agency in the conservation, development, and protection of the local environment;

3.

Contribute to the improvement of the lives of our constituents, most particularly the marginal fisherfolks and/or farmers through the creation of opportunities, such as but not limited to livelihood programs, skills training, institutional building, manpower and entrepreneurship development, using the concept of sustainable development; and,

4.

Acquire such assets, funds, grants, aids, and similar financial support that are consistent with the foregoing premises.
